The Brand That Makes The Difference!

In today's society we have a plethora of toxic or bad elements that cause harm to our body.  With the up rise of GMO's, bi-products and just plainly speaking, chemicals... that are being served on our dinner plates, or by products that are being integrated into our daily lives by way of bath or body skincare products or by cleaning products etc. 

This scenario, is all too familiar and leaves many families feeling defeated or apprehensive about ridding their homes, kitchens or bodies of these tyrannical ingredients or products. 

In the infancy stage of Olive Branch Natural Skincare, we desired to create products with ingredients that were good for the skin / body, and that could be used by the entire family. My family and I was once just like many of you; wanting something better!  We too grew tired of inferior products that in the end resulted in dry, itchy, inflamed and or irritated skin which called for a trip to the dermatologist or sadly a trip to the ER or most often having a closet or drawer full of unwanted or failed skincare or cleaning products. 

My husband and I became all too familiar with after a couple of loads of laundry being washed with a leading detergent brand, our youngest child, begin showing signs of irritated skin or contact dermatitis (a type of inflammation of the skin; symptoms: itchy or dry skin, a red rash, bumps or blisters and swelling). Although, contact dermatitis is not life threatening or contagious, it is very nerve wracking and a nuisance.  Time after time, we had to change our store brought liquid washing detergent to powered, then body soap bars - to liquid soap… back to bars or from one lotion to another with the same end result.  

Being a "Momma Bear", I began searching for better product(s) to clean our clothes, nourish our damaged skin and of course I found many brands that did as the last, harmed our skin. I felt defeated and frustrated and financially busted.  My husband a I, began researching how to create our own products, because "I knew what my family needed".  In the midst of our search, I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease that made my skin even more fragile and sensitive.  Just a simple washing of my hands made it a challenging.  My once casual search, was now fueled by desperation and determination, to have my skin soft and glowing…  while refusing to settle or trade my health for a dangerous brand or ingredients just because other people were using it.

We finally embarked on the life changing journey of creating our own products with ingredients we could take pride in and feel good that the our family and others were experiencing astounding results.

Creating our own brand of products is a constant reminder that there is someone else's family out there like mines; looking for “ A Brand That Makes The Difference; by Clean Products, Better Results”.
